戰火連綿不休的東北非遭逢絕境旱災，一千二百多萬人陷入歇斯底里大饑荒，小孩每天就有600人死亡，加上疫情早已蔓延，最悲慘的是骨瘦嶙峋的嬰孩，餓得連哭喊的氣力都沒有，母親們自救乏術，被迫忍痛把病弱的孩子棄置路旁，任其自生自滅，上演著人間一幕幕最淒涼的慘劇！你怎能冰冷坐視不理！？你怎可以眼瞪瞪見死不救！？救災如救火，極需十方積極響應賑災！各位朋友，無緣大慈，同體大悲，人溺己溺，讓我們同心肩負承擔起國際人道社會的責任，盡一己之力，慷慨解囊，踴躍捐獻，為淒慘災民紓緩困境，即使節衣縮食，亦應當仁不讓，慈悲伸出您們溫暖的援手吧！感謝及歡迎您出席參與，支持賑災，共襄善舉！
青佛中心的素食環保推廣項目“綠色的慈悲”將於10月21日(星期五)晚上6時在紐約市君豪餐廳 (136-20 Roosevelt Ave., Flushing, NY 11354 )舉行一個純素美宴的晚會，為東北非饑民籌款！並獲得“佛教環球賑濟”及“時輪金剛中心”兩大機構鼎力支持和共同協辦！(請看本期封底海報)
Green Compassion is going to held a Vegan Banquet to raise funds for the Eastern Africa Hungers . The Banquet will be held on Oct 21(Friday) 6pm in Grand Restaruant (136-20 Roosevelt Ave., Flushing  NY 11354 ). The event is fully supported and co-particpated with "Buddhist World Relief " and " Dorje Ling Buddhist Center". ( See attached poster )

If you are not aviliable to come but wish to donate, no matter you are living far away from New York City : may be you are in Hong Kong; may be you are in Taiwan or in China...you can spread out this news and call up more friends to donate for the Eastern Africa Hungers.
